Following up on the work completed by the University of Hawai‘i Community Design Center, the project team is began the environmental review process. The timeline of the planning process is below and will be updated as appropriate.

December 8, 2020 - Environmental Impact Statement Preparation Notice (EISPN) for the "Wahiawa Civic Center - Court Facility and State Office Complex" first published in The Environmental Notice on December 8, 2020.
December 17, 2020 - EISPN Scoping Meeting held. You can view the powerpoint presentation or view a video recording of the scoping meeting here.
December 23, 2020 - Based on a request from member of the Wahiawa Neighborhood Board, the EISPN comment deadline was extended from January 7, 2021 until February 7, 2021. The notice extending the deadline for the EISPN comments published in The Environmental Notice on December 23, 2020.
February 7, 2021 - Comment deadline for the EISPN.
February 9, 2021 - Community Design Workshop
May 2021 - Update to Neighborhood Board
June 2021 - Project Team participates in Piko Listening Journey at Kūkaniloko

With the formal submission of the FEIS, pursuant to § 11-200.1-28 HAR, the Accepting Authority, the Governor, has thirty days to issue a determination on the acceptability of the FEIS.
